Heavy Rains Cause Disruptions In Utility Services

During the deluge, several communities were without their usual supply of water and electricity. The heavy rains and thunderstorms have not only caused blockages on some roadways, but also disruption in utility services.

Media and Public Relations Manager at the Jamaica Public Service (JPS) Audrey Williams says the light and power company has been working assiduously to restore power to some of the communities affected.
