High-level Meeting in Kingston, Jamaica on Haitian Crisis

In just a few hours, the CARICOM Leaders will be addressing security concerns in the region.

The high-stakes meeting on Monday, March 11, convened by the Conference of the Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) is being hosted at the Pegasus Hotel in Kingston, Jamaica,

Also to share in the high-level meeting is United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken. He will discuss the proposal developed in partnership with CARICOM and Haitian stakeholders, to expedite a political transition in Haiti, as well as the deployment of a Multinational Security Support Mission to address the ongoing security crisis.

Blinken will also meet with Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness to discuss bilateral and regional issues.
