Toni-Ann adds that weeks before the September 3 General Election, there was heavy rainfall. The JLP Councillor for the area, Andrew Harris, said his budget, was not big enough to fix the problem, adding that he would pass it on to the mayor.
Calls to the Member of Parliament, Dr. Nigel Clarke went unanswered, however Councillor Harris has responded.
He says he has informed the mayor of the issue. The Councillor adds that a part of the problem is that the community was not intended for residential use.
Nonetheless, the city engineer at the Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAC) and his team are expected to visit the area on Thursday.
