According to reports of the harrowing incident, around 4 PM, a lone gunman approached the school’s bursar as he was leaving Hopewell High School, opening fire and resulting in the bursar’s immediate death.
The principal, who was nearby, sustained injuries but reports suggest they might not be from gunfire. Speculation has arisen that these injuries occurred as the principal attempted to evade the assailant’s shots.
