Prime Minister Andrew Holness recently handed over another home to a resident of Newhall, Manchester. Prime Minister Holness notes the government is working assiduously to ensure citizens benefit from the Government’s Social Housing Development Project. He however sought to address the trend of laborers taking advantage of the resources used for housing construction, noting it will not be tolerated. He also notes contractors go through an evaluation. In addition to evaluations, Prime Minister Holness says though skeptics may say that the program is run on favoritism, he says the programme is a level playing field. In the meantime, Nataria Wood the recipient of the home says she is beyond grateful for the new abode. Watch the full report here:
