Human Rights Groups Embolden Criminal Activity: Justice Minister

 Justice Minister Delroy Chuck is urging discretion among human rights groups seeking to defend perpetrators of crimes. He says while these groups point out injustices in the system, they might create a haven for criminals.

He was speaking at the launch of Jamaicans for Justice’s (JFJ) “Justice for All” campaign launch. He says that accelerating certain matters burdens an already overwhelmed court system. Still, He is calling on JFJ to support the justice ministry in aiding Jamaicans islandwide. Watch the full report:
