“I need to clear my name,” Member of Parliament for St. Mary Western, Robert Montague, during his presentation in the House today, says he is treated with bias by the Integrity Commission of Jamaica. With the Investigation conducted by Integrity Commission into Firearms License Issuance and Ministerial Reviews from 2012 to 2018, Montague said, “they could not find one instant where I broke the law, they could not find any abuse of power, they could not find any action resulting from bribery or fraud and they could not even name me in the final recommendations.”
The reasons are that there was no corrupt act by me, therefore the report did not reach the standard set in law

He went on to clarify and defend his honor by saying that he spoke up for public servants and that the Commission wants him to be silent, however, he said, “they are planning to raid my house, I have no problem nor objection, a person from a media house has asked around where I live because they are coming to cover a raid, at my house.”
Upon hearing his revelation, Opposition Leader, Mark Golding stood on a point of Order, saying the presentation made by is inappropriate or controversial.
