The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ) is urging employers to hire more chartered accountants coming out of universities; this as the institute intensifies its pursuit to educate potential chartered accountants on the integrity of taking on the role.
President, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica Allison Peart- said being an accountant requires ethical characteristics. As such, the Institute will be embarking on a mandatory ethics course for all chartered accountants as a method to promote best practices in the work world. Watch the full report:
