There are many factors involved that lead to homelessness and the numbers have been increasing in St. Catherine according to Mayor Norman Scott.
Mayor Scott notes that the St. Catherine municipality has been supporting other facilities in Old Harbour, Linstead and Portmore. Additionally, he says they have been providing food twice daily and the task is overwhelming.
