A family is appealing for urgency in making space available at an intensive care unit (ICU) to care for a patient in critical condition following a hit and run.
The injured 26-year-old is said to be in an induced coma and is urgently in need of advanced medical care as his health deteriorates daily.
On Friday 26-year-old Romario Manning went for a ride on his bicycle in Mocho, Clarendon when an unregistered and unlicensed vehicle hit him in a blind corner.
The hit and run ended tragically leaving Manning in critical condition at the May Pen Hospital. Manning who is currently battling for his life is said to have a broken neck, leg and is seemingly paralyzed from shoulders down.
