Inspector Of Poor Urges Citizens To Assist The Homeless

On Wednesday, many less fortunate persons welcomed the new year with a full stomach at the Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation’s Annual New Year’s Feeding Day Programme for the Homeless.

However, many of these persons have been neglected by family members and even strangers who simply drop them off at the Marie Atkins Night Shelter in Kingston.

Inspector of Poor, Mavis Farquharson is appealing for persons to change this.
