Integrity Commission submits Six-Page Third Party Witness Statement to Parliament

The Integrity Commission has announced the submission of a six-page third-party witness statement to Parliament as an addendum to its investigation report delivered last Thursday. The addendum is intended to support the original report and does not alter any of its findings, conclusions, or recommendations.

The Commission highlights that hard copies of the addendum were submitted in separate envelopes, each accompanied by identical letters, to the following officials:

The Most Hon. Juliet Holness, MP, Speaker of the House of Representatives.
The Hon. Heroy Clarke, MP, JP, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Senator the Hon. Tom Tavares-Finson, OJ, CD, KC, JP, President of the Senate.
Ms. Colleen Lowe, Clerk to the Houses of Parliament.
According to the release, the documentation was formally received and signed for at Parliament at 11:04 a.m.

Integrity Commission Receives Six-Page Third Party Witness Statement; Submits same to
Parliament as an Addendum to its Investigation Report that was submitted last Thursday
September 9, 2024 – In keeping with its commitment previously made to the public, the Integrity
Commission wishes to advise that it has, today, submitted to Parliament, for tabling, an Addendum to its
Report of Investigation (the Report) that was submitted to the Parliament last Thursday, September 5, 2024.
The Addendum embodies a substantiating Six (6) Page Third Party Witness Statement that is germane to
the Report. It is important to record and clarify that the Statement was submitted to the Commission by the
Witness on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 2:46 p.m., after the Commission had already submitted the Report
to Parliament for tabling on Thursday, September 5, 2024.


The substantiating Addendum is not meant to alter, in any respect, the findings, conclusions or
recommendations that are in the Report.
Hard copies of the Addendum were submitted in separate envelopes, under cover of identical letters,
addressed to the following officials:
(1) The Most Hon. Juliet Holness, MP, Speaker of the House of Representatives
(2) The Hon. Heroy Clarke, MP, JP, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives
(3) Senator the Hon. Tom Tavares-Finson, OJ, CD, KC, JP, President of the Senate
(4) Ms. Colleen Lowe, Clerk to the Houses of Parliament
The documentation was formally received and signed for at the Parliament at 11:04 a.m. today.
A USB Flash Drive, containing electronic PDF copies of the documentation, was also conveyed for the
attention of the Clerk to the Houses.


The Integrity Commission anticipates that the Addendum, along with the Report, which was submitted
pursuant to and in conformance with Section 54 of the Integrity Commission Act, will be tabled in the
Parliament as soon as possible.
