The continued warfare gripping one East Kingston community and driving fear and terror into residents. Fingers are being pointed to men from warring factions of Franklyn Town from Bryden Street, Bray Street, and surrounding areas. CVM Live visited sections of the gritty community on Tuesday, May 18, following a spate of shootings and firebombings up to the weekend.
Efforts to get a comment from the police up to news time proved futile.
On Tuesday, our news team arrived in the community only hours before gunmen reportedly fired shots after two boys on Bryden Street.
No one was injured but the bullets reportedly flew through a glass window of this apartment building on the other side of the road in Mcintyre Villa.
The mother of a 12-year-old girl, who has been living in the community for over 40 years, told CVM LIVE how her daughter narrowly escaped the stray bullets.
