Students and community members in one St. Catherine community will benefit from a new agriculture programme. The launch saw stakeholders from the agriculture sector on Friday. The institution which has a capacity for 200 students will also benefit members of the Bushy Park community. Principal Oral Wilks says this new initiative is a major boost for the institution. Mr. Wilks highlights areas of focus within the agriculture programme. Students must be at least 17 years of age to enroll in the institution, and an entry test will be given if they lack the necessary qualifications.

He notes agriculture is a very crucial part of the country’s economy.
