Jamaica saw the official launch of the candidature to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) on Wednesday. Director-General of Civil Aviation Authority Nari Williams-Singh, tells CVM LIVE that Jamaica is among the one hundred and ninety-three (193) countries to participate in an election that happens every three years.
Mr. Williams-Singh notes this will be an opening for Jamaica to have a voice regarding regulations for the aviation industry. He notes steps are being taken regarding preparations ahead of the elections, adding there has been support. Watch the report below:
