Grand Bahia Keeping COVID-19 at Bay– As the country continues its fight against COVID-19, there are those among us who have played a part as first responders.
What was supposed to be 250 rooms for quarantining Jamaicans quickly turned in to hundreds, over 1200 to be more precise. From cruise ship and airline workers to call centre employees, Jamaican nationals in the Caribbean to those as far as the Middle East.

Although being the hero in its own right, Grand Bahia is saluting the front line workers, offering reduced rates. Locals make up the majority of the guests on the weekends. When asked whether they would do it again, Grand Bahia says its doors will always remain open to help the Jamaican people.
