Jamaica has recorded over a thousand cases in the last 24 hours, a record high since the onset of the pandemic. The spike in COVID-19 cases has sparked concern among Jamaicans on the heels of the reopening schools. Opposition Spokesperson on Health Dr. Morais Guy is calling on the government to increase testing. Dr. Guy also suggests that the Health Ministry removes the cap on the number of tests conducted at the various testing sites.
