Jamaica to Roll Out Booster Shots Starting December 13

Jamaicans 60 and older and health care workers will start receiving the COVID-19 booster shots, which are different from an additional dose.

However, in Parliament, on Tuesday, December 7, the opposition spokesman on health, Dr. Morais Guy while for booster doses, took issue with the ministry’s decision as a recommendation from the who is pending.

He is concerned about the ministry’s position on the administration of booster shots – arguing that there are no recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO)
