Jamaican students arrive safely in Poland after taking refuge in an underground bunker for sixteen hours to escape explosions and gunfire then walking 13 miles in the cold. The Foreign Affairs Ministry reports 24 Jamaican students safely arrived in Poland. Information Minister Robert Morgan has confirmed to CVM LIVE, that the students are being given accommodation, food, and other necessities, which are covered by the government of Jamaica.
However, we understand that four students are still in Ukraine. Two are said to be in a safe section of the country, one still in Kharkiv and one heading towards the Romanian border. More details here:
