Jamaicans have expressed mixed feelings regarding the Prime Minister’s stance on condemning conflicts in foreign countries. On Saturday, Prime Minister Andrew Holness took to ‘X,’ formerly known as Twitter, to condemn the Hamas group’s attack on Israel. Hamas is a Palestinian organization that was designated as a terrorist group a few years ago.
However, many Jamaicans are dissatisfied with the Prime Minister’s comments, as they perceive a bias towards Israel due to the recent attacks by Hamas. They argue that the Israel-Palestine conflict has deep historical roots dating back almost a century, and this complexity should be acknowledged. Watch the report:
