Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Kamina Johnson-Smith is urging all Jamaicans in Russia to evacuate urgently. The Minister is aware of eighteen students who are currently in the country, however, three have confirmed making arrangements to leave. Johnson-Smith is encouraging the others to do the same as sanctions grow more severe and flights become restricted to and from the country.
