Jamaicans will be voting soon – Jamaica’s next general election will be held in three weeks’ time on Thursday, September 3, 2020.
Prime Minister Andrew Holness announced the general election date after the house unanimously voted to end the States of Public Emergency across the island.
All fifty-six (56) members of parliament, who were present, voted to cut short the emergency powers, clearing the way for the election season.
