Jamaica’s business confidence drops for Quarter two; Investors say it is a bad time to invest. The damage caused by the Coronavirus outbreak on the island has dampened the mood of the business community.
A recent Don Anderson poll on the business confidence showed a drop in business confidence for the second quarter, the lowest outlook on the economy in years.
Jamaica’s Business confidence for the current economic climate is also down for the period. The business community is exercising what it describes as cautious optimism for the next few months.
President of the Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association, Richard Pandohie says he is not surprised by the figures.
