Jamaica’s Tapper Makes History In 100m Hurdles Final

Megan Tapper made history after taking bronze in the Women’s 100m Hurdles final at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan on Monday.

In the final, she clocked a time of 12.55 seconds for the bronze medal, running in lane nine.

The athlete’s mother, Marva Gordon, shared a video congratulating her daughter while mentioning a few key names, who supported her from the initial stages – names such as her mentor Emmett Decambré, Uncle Joshua Bonner, and so many others.

Megan Tapper became the first woman in history to win a bronze medal in the 100m hurdles for Jamaica at the Olympics.
