From the Jamaica Promotions Corporation’s (Jampro) two-day Virtual Investment Conference, one organizer is calling on international investors to take advantage of the viable options Jamaica has to offer, as Jamaica’s road to full economic recovery looks promising.
The second day of Jampro’s Virtual Business Investment Conference came to end on Thursday with presentations from various stakeholders in the business sector. President of Jampro Dianne Edwards provided insight on what foreign investors can invest in and how they can expand. She notes that Jamaica has a number of viable investment options aside from tourism.
Ms. Edwards explained how Jampro has kept the momentum of advertising Jamaica globally and noted that Jampro has developed strategies for targeting three major categories including, manufacturing, agro-business, and digital global services.
In the meantime, she says Jamaica’s economic recovery thus far is looking positive.
