JAS: Brace For More Price Increases

With just under two weeks remaining in the hurricane season, some farmers, who had been relieved after drought conditions dissipated, are now grappling with the aftermath of persistent rainfall turning blessings into sorrows.

Lenworth Fulton, President of the Jamaica Agricultural Society, JAS, highlights that farmers have incurred significant losses of produce they had relied upon to meet market demands, especially with the impending Christmas season.
