JCC: Value in Curfew for Future Gains

One business stakeholder says while restrictions may affect small businesses, it is important that citizens adhere to the health protocols and curfew times.

For six consecutive weekends, Jamaica faced a minor lockdown which was ordered by Prime Minister Andrew Holness. While the lockdown was in effect, COVID-19 cases were trending down. 

In a response to CVM Live regarding the downward trend, CEO of the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce (JCC) Larry Watson says as the fairly tight restrictions were successful there’s room for adjustment.
