The timely graduation of three hundred and twenty-three (323) new constables is expected to strengthen the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF), as the Minister of National Security, Dr. Horace Chang outlines the different crimes stunting the country’s growth. He expresses hopefulness towards the graduates’ competence to battle these instances of crime.
Speaking at their graduation, Minister of National Security Dr. Horace Chang, applauded their commitment and dedication to improving the state of security across the Island. Noting the recent transformation of the police force to tackle crime, Dr. Chang says a technology branch of the Police Force has been developed and is inviting persons who are technologically competent to consider the opportunities it can afford. This, as he encourages the graduates to continue the fight towards maintaining social order. The Minister reiterated the Government’s commitment to equip the Police Force with resources and tools to better fight crime, and secure communities. More Details here:
