Heavy police presence in Bobo Hill, St Andrew on Friday. This time to promote peace and love as members of the Rastafarian community make preparation for their annual Bobo Christ-Mus celebration which begins on January 7.
Police Commissioner Major General Antony Anderson says the police have decided to visit several communities including Bobo Hill and other areas in St Andrew to build greater relations with residents. This approach he believes is significant to tackle the country’s crime problem.
Meantime, one member of the community Priest Phego is calling on Prime Minister Andrew Holness to also visit the community as they look to return to Africa immediately for freedom and repatriation. The event is expected to last 7 days with a Sabbath that starts on Friday among other activities.
