JCF Safety Branch Speaks On Motorcycle Crashes

The Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch (PSTEB) addresses the increasing number of motorcycle crashes, constituting 32% of fatalities in 2023. ACP Gary McKenzie, head of PSTEB, identifies the lack of official licensing as a significant factor contributing to these accidents. While public education is part of the plan, ACP McKenzie emphasizes the need for stricter regulations to reduce incidents. Motorcycle safety advocate Tarikkiddoe stresses the importance of a deeper understanding of road rules for young riders. The branch aims to mitigate motorcycle crashes and improve road safety in the new year.
