The police are gathering witnesses as part of their probe into the death of 50-year-old Carlton Armstrong of Bond Street, Kingston, and 21-year-old Orlando Turner of Freeman’s Hall Trelawny.
Both men were shot in Darling Street Downtown, Kingston.
The police toured the market district following the incident. Members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force took to the streets in an enforcement drive on Wednesday. This, as investigations into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of two men continue. The incident happened at coronation market on Darling Street in Kingston on Saturday, February 5. At the same time they seek to clear the roadways of the downtown Kingston market district of illegal vendors
One vendor says that the market needs to be cleared to allow vendors to sell legally and keep their goods safe.
