Jamaica Civil Service Association, JCSA, welcomes new statutory declaration threshold. Next year, around 30,000 public sector employees will no longer be required to submit yearly statutory declarations to the Integrity Commission (I-C). Parliament has greenlit the I-C’s proposal to raise the income threshold for civil servants obliged to disclose earnings, moving it from $3.5 million to $12 million, relieving a significant number from this reporting requirement.
