The two primary political parties in the country, namely the People’s National Party (PNP) and the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP), persist in intensifying their rhetoric regarding which party is more capable of managing the nation’s affairs. The dispute commenced earlier this week when Andrew Holness, the leader of the JLP, asserted that his government had inherited an economy in a state of stagnation. Watch the report:
