Joe Biden Wins US Presidential Election

Joe Biden wins: For the last four days the world has been on edge as Americans decide on who will be their next President.

On Saturday, CNN projected that Joseph R. Biden will be the 46th President with Kamala Harris as his Vice- President putting an end to the Trump Presidency.

The win was announced after Biden was projected to win the 20 Electoral votes in Pennsylvania. 

The Biden-Harris win is historic in a number of ways. Firstly, the Biden-Harris team secured the most votes in the history of the US elections.

Also, Harris is the first female and person of color to be elected as US Vice President.

This is Biden’s third attempt at Presidency and he is the oldest person to be elected President at age 78.

Biden in responding to his win says, “I will be a president for all Americans- whether you vote for me or not I will keep the faith that you have placed in me.” Biden said

Additionally, CNN Political Correspondent Van Jones got emotional on-air as he react to the Biden-Harris win.

Across the country celebrations were in full swing as Democrats claim victory over the Republicans.

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump took to twitter to expressed false claims that he is the winner of the election, undermining the democratic process. 

Reports are that the President was playing golf when he was informed that Biden was  declared as the President elect.
