President of the Jamaica Teachers‘ Association (JTA) Winston Smith is urging the government to better compensate teachers. He insists Jamaicans should stand with educators, during the upcoming wage negotiations.
The JTA president says the teachers deserve to be rightfully paid, he is trusting the government to make the right choice, to prevent brain drain. The JTA Boss says they now have to enter the second stage of negotiation, called the new compensation review. He is urging citizens to stand up with the country’s educators.
