According to PNP activist Karen Cross, she will “always be a member” of the People’s National Party, (PNP). Her statement comes after her expulsion from the party was made public on Monday, September 27. Cross says this is a distraction used by party leaders to shift focus from other scandals.
In the meantime, acting Chairman of the PNP, Horace Dalley says no member of the party is exempt from its rules and regulations. Speaking with CVM Live on Tuesday, September 28, Cross affirms she is a lifelong member of the People’s National Party, (PNP). Cross further notes that there was no communication with her after the deliberations, she notes that a recommendation for suspension was made however she accuses them of being fraudulent.
Meanwhile, PNP Acting Chairman Horace Dalley says he takes no joy in the expulsion of Ms. Karen Cross, noting the party has policies and standards that must be adhered to regardless of person and positions within the party. Mr. Dalley insists the rules and regulations apply to all members.
Dalley, says several opportunities were given to Ms. Cross to meet with the party’s leadership but alleges she was reluctant.
