Heavy rains associated with Hurricane Ian, did not cause any severe flooding across the corporate area. There was no need for shelters to be activated.
Kingston Mayor Delroy Williams says although emergency shelters across the municipality have been fully prepared for the worst there was no need to activate them during the recent adverse weather. Among the communities spared a battering, is New Haven; a major hotspot for flooding. Watch the full report:
