A female student of the Kingston Technical High School was stabbed to death by another student at the institution on Thursday.
CVM LIVE understands, she was stabbed to death by another female student, after the two were engaged in an altercation at the Kingston Technical High School. Operations officer, Kingston Central Police, Deputy Superintendent of Police Linval Phoenix is leading the investigation into the tragic incident.
He adds the student was rushed to the Kingston Public Hospital where she was pronounced dead. As news of the incident travelled, the school compound, now the scene of a homicide, was flooded by onlookers
Members of staff and students were visibly shaken trying to come to grips with the horror. A grief counseling session will be held on Friday morning. More details here:
