Responding to the growing threat of violence in schools and the consumption of molly among students several student leaders and representatives from the Kingston & St Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAMC) are calling for intervention.
Student leaders and other representatives of the KSAMC are calling for solutions to thwart school violence and molly addiction. Speaking at the Election of Youth Mayor and Robing exercise held at the KSAMC Office, Outgoing Youth Mayor, Reajean Bennett says there is a need for more public education to raise awareness among youth. Bennett stresses the need for the younger population in Jamaica to think proactively to rid negative behaviour; grateful for the privilege to serve, the newly elected Youth Mayor for Kingston, Khijani Williams outlined several plans for his tenure.
