The Kingston & St. Andrew Municipal Corporation’s (KSAMC) Enforcement Drive is on a mission to manage the vending situation in Downtown Kingston. On Sunday a team outlined boundaries to make Beckford Street passable for vehicular traffic.

One vendor suggests a registry where a fee is paid to vend legally; It is also reported vendors have been found bridging lights, vandalizing street signs, and causing garbage pile-ups leading to vermin infestations.

Commandant for the Municipal Police Duane Anderson insists that those who refuse to comply will be removed. More details in this report:
