Questions are being raised by Opposition Spokesperson on Foreign Trade Lisa Hanna, about Jamaica’s exporting habits. Speaking in Parliament, Hanna said there is little benefit to locally producing irish potatoes, as it is seven times more expensive than the global market price. She is advising that more effort and resources be poured into producing products that can compete on the global market. More details in this report:
