Lisa Hanna’s Constituents Support Resignation

Member of Parliament Lisa Hanna’s announcement to resign from representational politics is being welcomed by several constituents. speaking with CVM LIVE on Wednesday, residents voiced their disappointment for what they describe as poor service to the constituency. 

The St. Ann south eastern Member of Parliament, who has held the post for nearly four terms, on Tuesday, informed PNP President Mark Golding that she will not be a candidate in the next General Elections. However, it appears Hanna has struck a wrong note with some of her constituents as they tell our news team they’re relieved at the announcement.

The Opposition Spokesperson on Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade narrowly won the seat during the 2020 elections; a fact that one constituent says proves she has lost the favor of many. Watch the report:
