Lower House Summoned for Re-Tabling of SOE for St. Catherine

The government is facing severe criticism after a major blunder on Tuesday when it tabled the wrong regulations for the State of Public Emergency for St Catherine.

Members of Parliament have been hastily summoned to the house of representatives for the tabling of the emergency powers, parish of St. Catherine, which will be the only item on the agenda. The regulations have been highly anticipated since last week’s court ruling in favour of St. James taxi operator Roshaine Clarke, which was deemed unconstitutional. More details in the report:
