The town of Lucea in Hanover is set to benefit from the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development‘s beautification project. The launch was held in the capital earlier this week. The launch of the paint the city campaign attracted a team from the ministry of local government and rural development who were in Lucea, Hanover for the event.
Speaking at the launch, Minister Desmond McKenzie promises major developments for the parish soon. He says the development will be handled in phases. He says upgrading the roads will help ease congestion in the town. The minister also encouraged residents to take pride in their town, reminding them it is their home. Minister McKenzie however had a warning for persons disregarding proper garbage disposal.
