Training and employment will be available for young persons in St. James as major road works are set to take place. Surveys have been conducted by contractors for roads prone to flooding and have poor drainage systems.
Minister without portfolio in the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation with responsibility for works Everald Warmington along with Montego Bay Mayor Homer Davis toured a section of the town Thursday where major road works are set to begin.
According to Mr. Warmington lots of young persons will benefit through employment and training. Warmington says plans are in place specifically for the perimeter road vicinity, where flooding is often an issue. Surveys have been done for developments to commence. Warmington provided a timeline for the start of the project.
