Daily commute in sections of Half-Way Tree, St. Andrew was on Sunday afternoon disrupted when gunmen shot two people, one fatally in the vicinity of the Transport Centre.
The woman remains hospitalized. The incident unfolded on North Odeon Avenue, Half Way Tree. The man was allegedly at the bus stop in the vicinity of the Half Way Tree Transport Centre, where he was attacked by men on a motorcycle. CVM Live spoke with the police who confirmed the latest surrounding the incident. The injured woman was rushed to hospital, her condition remains unknown however heron was later pronounced dead.
Crowd quickly gathered at the scene where the man was attacked. Shortly after videos of the grim ordeal surfaced on social media. The police are imploring persons with information on the attack to play their part by reporting what they know.
