Manchester High School Benefits from Summer Programme

Manchester high school is the latest institution to benefit from the Sagicor Foundation’s Ilah’s Lemonade Stand initiative; a total of 3.5-million dollars was donated to the school. Education Minister Fayval Williams says the pandemic has placed many challenges on the education sector and the ministry welcomes additional support. She’s also encouraging more stakeholders in the private sector to assist in providing resources for students.

Minister Williams says though schools have fully returned to face-to-face learning, there is a recommendation for online learning in overpopulated schools. Meanwhile, she provided an update on the sixth form pathways program slated to commence in the upcoming academic year. Watch the full report here:
