Over one hundred tickets were issued to motorists by the Manchester Police. The Manchester police partnered with the Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch (PSTEB) for a full operation Thursday morning in the towns of Mandeville and Christiana.
Deputy Superintendent in charge of Operations for the parish, DSP Anthony Lewis, says motorists have been in breach of the Road Traffic Act. He says PSTEB has offered support to maintain order. As there has been an increase in road fatalities, DSP Lewis notes there will be more prosecutions for motorists in breach of the road code. Watch the full report for more details:
