Manhunt Continues for Two Men Who Escaped Police Custody

The manhunt continues for two men who escaped custody at the Hunts Bay police lockup in St. Andrew on Thursday night. The men are 30-year-old Roland Scully of Tobias Road, Kingston 11, and 26-year-old Gevoney Myrie of Olympic Way, also of Kingston 11. Myrie is of dark complexion and medium build; he has plaited hair, thick eyebrows, usually has a mustache, and has tattoos on both arms. While Scully has bleached skin, is of a slim build, and is 5 feet 9 inches tall. Scully also has an oval face, bushy eyebrows, tattoos on arms, and the word ‘loyalty’ on his torso. Scully and Myrie were recently convicted for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition. 

The men who escaped were to be sentenced on September 16 and September 17 respectively at the Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Court. Head of the St. Andrew South Police Division Superintendent Kirk Ricketts told our news team that the men before their convictions were persons of interest.
