The Sangster International Airport is reporting that the passenger figures are one percent away from being back to pre-covid levels in 2019. In anticipation of a summer rush, MBJ airports hosted a job fair to increase staff. The COVID-19 pandemic dealt a hefty blow to the sector in 202; consequently, concessions operating at the airport had to cut staff.
Now, the Sangster International Airport anticipates an influx of travellers as the country recovers. To solve its under-staffing issue, a job fair was held on Tuesday where people came out in their numbers. Many companies reported success in identifying potential candidates, including the Operations Manager for Sixth Rent-a-car Nathaniel Spence.
